Crossville the golf capital of Tennessee, high atop Tennessee's Cumberland Plateau. Located along I-40 at exit 317, between Knoxville and Nashville.
During the month of August, Crossville is smack dab in the middle of the "Home of the World's Logest Yardsale" also konwn as the 450 mile yard sale or Hwy 127 Corridor sale. This never ending garage sale, flea market is a marathon of bargains that spans over four states.
Just a few miles to the South of Crossville is Hinch Mountain (35.78 -84.98). At 3,048 ft. one of the highest point between the Smokies and Rockies. Resting below at 1,542 ft. is Grassy Cove. This Tennessee scenery just keeps repeating in evey direction.
